EICR Testing

EICR Testing

EICR Testing | Domestic & Commercial

EICR compliance testing doesn’t need to cause major disruption to your business operations.

LFT Electrical LTD will work with you to understand your business and develop a bespoke EICR testing schedule to take advantage of any natural downtime or quiet periods, offering out-of-hours or out-of-term testing or providing a team to take advantage of maintenance windows and shut-downs.

We offer a range of EICR testing services (including Fixed Wire Testing, thermal imaging and more) to companies across the UK. We have particular expertise in large commercial offices, hotels, education and industrial sectors, as well as Domestic EICRs for landlords and home owners.

What services we offer

  • Commercial and Industrial Fixed wire testing (EICR’s) – including full shut downs and servicing.
  • EICR Domestic landlord certificates.
  • Electrical testing for landlords.
  • Thermal imaging and inspection.
  • Emergency lighting tests.
  • Remedial works to fix any issues or bring your electrical installation up to the best and safest standard possible.

Our focus is to minimise disruption to your business operation during testing. If you require our services we will carry out the pre-testing survey to identify any potential issues as well as plan the most efficient approach to testing your business. We provide a bespoke solution for every client, offering out of hours or out of term testing or the ability to fit into your quieter periods if required.

Some of clients prefer 100% of circuits to be tested, others prefer a rolling 20% or 33% each year (to comply with 5 or 3 year testing frequency). We will do our best to work with your business and make the best plan to suit.

An EICR helps you ensure that your electrical installations are safe and comply with the current regulations. Our electricians will check the condition of any existing wiring, as well as any new installations, in order to identify any potential risks or problems. This includes checking circuit breakers, fuses, light switches, sockets, smoke detectors and other such items. If there are any issues found during the inspection, they can be rectified before they become more serious or cause injury or death. The report also serves as proof that the electrical installations have been checked by a qualified professional so you can provide this document as evidence if required by law or mortgage lenders.
